Cuyahoga County Sheriff's deputies are still searching for a man who was said to have tried to run over sheriff's deputies during a prostitution arrest that went awry in Independence. They say he is armed and dangerous.

Dwayne Fair Jr., 27, escaped during a prostitution sting Thursday night outside a hotel in Independence.

On Friday, Cuyahoga County Sheriff Frank Bova told Channel 3 that Fair "..tried to kill two deputies."

During the incident, Fair also threatened to kill deputies.

Deputies confirmed that shots were fired but it's unclear if he was injured.

Fair is 5'7" tall, weighs 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Fair is wanted for promoting prostitution, felonious assault on a police officer, and human trafficking.
