Many people have been griping about all the snow we've had lately. But all that snow turned out to be the perfect backdrop for a giant-sized, heartwarming get well message.
Scott Johnson, 57, was a patient at UH Seidman Cancer Center and his family wanted to cheer him up during a recent hospital stay.
So his wife, Lisa, and the couple's three college-aged daughters went outside UH Seidman to the snow below his hospital room. The four then traced the message: "Love U Dad!" in the snow and called Johnson and told him to look down.
UH Seidman says Johnson was so touched by the gesture his heart rate went up. He has since been discharged from the hospital and UH says he is doing well at home.
