Cleveland -- A 21-year-old man is dead following a traffic crash on the city's west side.

The accident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of West 105th Street and Fidelity Avenue.

According to Cleveland Police, the driver of the motorcycle was headed southbound on West 105th Street when he collided with the SUV. The SUV, headed eastbound, was accelerating after stopping at a stop sign when the crash happened.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle may have been going higher than the posted limit.

The Cleveland Police Accident Investigation Unit is on scene investigating the crash along with the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners.

The victim's name has not been released at this time.
