EUCLID -- A Fairview Park woman has been charged in the Halloween death of a pedestrian.

Anthony Simpson Jr., 22, of Euclid, was struck by a car while crossing Lakeshore Boulevard on Halloween night. Simpson later died of his injuries.

Today, police took Anne C. Medzi into custody on a Euclid Municipal Court warrant on a charge of stopping after an accident on public roads or highways.

Police in a release say no further charges are being sought at this time.
