CLEVELAND -- A father was taken into custody after his 3-year-old son was found dead Friday evening.

Police were called to a Project Avenue residence after EMS workers found 3-year-old Bryson Marshall dead around 7:40 p.m.

The Celveland Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene. Preliminary investigation lead to arrest of William Sheppard, 26, for felony child endangering. No other details about the incident were immediately released.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office will determine how the child died, which may lead to additional charges being filed at a later time.
