UNIONTOWN -- A Uniontown man was arrested Monday manufacturing meth near children.
The Summit County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at 4519 S. Arlington Road as part of a methamphetamine investigation and found seven "one-pot" meth labs as well as drug paraphernalia, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
Robert Paul Bonanno, 51, was arrested for illegal manufacturing of drugs, which was elevated to a first-degree felony because of the proximity to children.
The residence is a triplex, and six children live next door.
The Summit County Drug Unit is made up of the Summit County Sheriff's Office, Akron Police Department, University of Akron police, Barberton police, Cuyahoga Falls police, Stow police, Copley police, Reminderville police, New Franklin police, Springfield police, the DEA, the FBI and the ATF.
