Former Browns head coach headed to Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS -- Rob Chudzinski now knows he is headed to Indianapolis, after being abruptly fired as Browns head coach just hours after the final game of the season.
He has been hired by the Indianapolis Colts to serve as special assistant head coach to Chuck Pagano.
The announcement came on Saturday.
The two have history. While Chudzinski was a freshman at the University of Miami, Pagano was a graduate assistant at the school. They went on to coach the Hurricanes together from 1995-2000, and both spent the 2004 season working together with the Browns.
Back in December, just hours after a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chudzinski was fire after only one season as head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
