AKRON -- Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh confirmed that a jury found Duane A. Clayton, 31, of Akron, guilty of aggravated robbery, a felony of the first degree, with a firearm specification.
On Sept. 18, Clayton and his cousin, Myron Clayton-Foster, 20, robbed the Game Rack on Goodyear Boulevard of several games and money.
With the assistance of the K-9 Unit, police were able to track Clayton to the basement of a nearby residence. The stolen items were found with some of Clayton's clothing in the yard of the building.
Judge Lynne Callahan will sentence Clayton on April 2.
Myron Clayton-Foster, of Akron, previously pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, a felony of the first degree, with a firearm specification. He is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday (Feb. 26).
