KimWASHINGTON D.C. -- According to the official docket of the United States Supreme Court, the court has now scheduled a conference date of Sept. 29 to consider whether the court will hear the appeal by former Cuyahoga County Commissioner and Democratic Party chairman Jimmy Dimora to overturn his his criminal conviction.

A decision regarding the outcome of the conference will be announced Oct. 6.

Dimora's attorney Christian Grostic filed a petition with the court July 14, requesting the court review his case and overturn his criminal conviction.

The information was just posted on the Supreme Court website.
