A mounted Cleveland Police officer was injured after his horse went down Tuesday morning.
CLEVELAND -- A Cleveland Mounted Police officer was injured after his horse went down Tuesday morning.
Officials said it happened on E. 17th Street and St. Clair Avenue. The horse had tripped, fallen down, and then took off while the officer was on duty.
Officials say the horse was found and is expected to be okay. No other injuries were reported during the incident.
The officer, who was not identified, sustained minor injuries to his arm and was treated at the MetroHealth Medical Center.
