The repairs are expected to take two hours, police said in a fax sent just before 10 p.m. Tuesday

MENTOR -- Police say several crossings are back open after a Norfolk Southern train blocked several crossings in Mentor late Tuesday and into early Wednesday.

The train was experiencing mechanical problems, and Norfolk Southern worked several hours to fix the issues.

The crossings that were affected were Hopkins Road, Patterson Drive, Maple Street and Station Street.
