CONCORD TOWNSHIP -- The Ohio State Patrol is investigating a head-on crash involving four teenagers just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old boy driving a Chevrolet Camaro with a teen passenger, tried to pass a car on Girdled Road and slammed head-on into a Chevrolet Impala. His passenger, also 16, was transported to Tri-Point Hospital with reportedly minor injuries.

The Impala was driven by a 17-year-old girl from Chardon. The female driver was taken by LifeFlight to MetroHealth Medical Center where she is listed in critical, but stable condition. Her passenger, also 17, was transported to Tri-Point Hospital with minor injuries.
