CLEVELAND -- The West Shoreway has reopened as of 9:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, Cleveland police shut it down both eastbound and westbound from West 28th Street to Lake Avenue due to multiple accidents and bad conditions.

High winds and blowing snow prevented plows from keeping the roadway clear.
