CLEVELAND -- Now that the globe has taken a king-sized bite out of the box office for "The Avengers," another flick that was filmed in Northeast Ohio last summer is screaming into the spotlight with its first teasing taste -- the trailer for Paramount Pictures' "Fun Size" was released Thursday (see video below).
The preview for the Halloween-themed film only offers one obvious glimpse of downtown Cleveland at the 1:09 mark in which you can clearly see the city's night skyline.
At the 12-second mark, you can quickly see a portion of the Shore Cultural Center's exterior in Euclid.
Although the comedy filmed in multiple local spots last summer including locations in Lakewood, Beachwood and Cleveland Heights, the trailer doesn't make any of those areas easy to discern.
"Fun Size," which has been described as a mix between "Superbad" and "Adventures in Babysitting" is slated to be released Friday, Oct. 26.
In addition to hundreds of local extras, the movie stars Victoria Justice, Johnny Knoxville and Chelsea Handler.
According to Fandango.com, "'Fun Size' is a funny and outrageous family ensemble comedy that all takes place on one Halloween night.A young girl's popularity is in jeopardy when she is forced to track down her kid brother instead of going to THE party of the year. Yet her kid brother shows her what popularity is all about -- and her rush to find her brother with her nerd neighbor shows her that popularity might not be exactly what she really wants."
The movie has not yet been rated.
Earlier this week, the trailer for "Alex Cross" -- which also lensed in Northeast Ohio last summer -- was unleashed. On Tuesday, "The Avengers" became the third movie in history to makemore than $600 million at the domestic box office.
