What's your take on the extra point in football?

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is looking into doing away with the kick after the touchdown because it's almost always a guaranteed point.

Goodell says there were only five extra-point attempts missed all of last season.

Instead, Goodell is thinking of making a touchdown worth seven points. One proposal would then let teams run or pass for eight points total, but if they don't score, that point would be taken away to make the scoring drive worth six points.

No word on if or when this change would come up for league-wide discussion.
